As I Mature

As I Mature...

I've learned that you cannot make someone love you.
All you can do is stalk them and hope they panic and give in.

I've learned that no matter how much I care,
some people are just assholes.

I've learned that it takes years to build up trust,
and it only takes suspicion, not proof, to destroy it.

I've learned that you can get by on charm for about fifteen minutes,
After that you better have a huge schlong.

I've learned that you can keep vomiting,
long after you think you're finished.

I've learned that we are responsible for what we do,
unless we are celebrities.

I've learned that regardless of how hot and steamy a relationship is at first,
the passion fades, and there had better be a lot of money to take its place!

I've learned that 99% of the time when something isn't working in your house,
one of your kids did it.

I've learned that the people you care most about in life are taken from you too soon,
and all the less important ones just never go away.

Moment in Time

I don't have photos from the past to post, nor do I have any silly jokes to poke. Just an adaptation of Cynthia Kepp's poem which I wish to share:

Moment in Time

We walked,

We talked,

for a moment in time.

Folks, if I remember correctly, the photo with Mrs. Tiang was taken when we were Standard 1. The photo with the male teacher which if I remember correctly is Mr. Ding was either Standard 5 or Standard 5. Very likely to be Standard 5. So Yang Ti, Kien Hock, Eng Teng and me had been same class since Standard 1 until Standard 6. Oh ya....Chiao Yun too. Anyone can remember all the names for the Standard 5/6 photo? Isn't that girl sitting first from left is Kew Jit Eng (Japanese Girl)?

The girl sitting between Wan Yin and Soon Lan, she stay at Taman Ling Sing Hang opposite Chiao Yun's house. Aiya......can't recall her name lah.......And if you people could find Dr. Lau in Standard 1 photo.......hahaha....yes next to Kien Hock. Got to be him, skinny and look like Ah Beng with the top button open. Ok...now only I notice....Jin Yi also same class with us since Standard 1.
